This medicine usually makes you feel better very quickly but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

Safety Advice

- Kidney : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Maxolid DS Dry Syrup is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Maxolid DS Dry Syrup is recommended. However, Maxolid DS Dry Syrup must be used with caution in children with severe kidney disease. Dose modification may be required in severe kidney disease. - Liver : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Maxolid DS Dry Syrup is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Maxolid DS Dry Syrup is recommended. However, Maxolid DS Dry Syrup should be used with caution in children with severe liver disease as it can be a potential threat to liver functions although not very common.
