It is commonly given to children to treat a wide range of bacterial infections, including infections of the eyes, middle ear, nose, throat, lungs, skin, bone and joints, gastrointestinal tract, and urinary tract. This medicine inhibits the growth of infection-causing bacteria by stopping them from multiplying. Children usually start showing improvement within 3 to 5 days of the regular dosing. You must continue giving the medicine even after seeing this improvement because stopping the medicine abruptly may worsen your child’s condition or cause infection recurrence.

It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. - Kidney : CAUTION - Vincef 100 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Vincef 100 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. - Liver : SAFE IF PRESCRIBED - Vincef 100 Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Vincef 100 Tablet is recommended. However, consult with your child’s doctor before giving this medicine to your child in case of a severe form of liver disease.
