It prevents platelets from sticking together thereby preventing the formation of harmful blood clots. This means you are less likely to suffer from angina, a heart attack, a stroke, or other blockages of blood vessels. It is likely to be prescribed if you have a high risk of cardiovascular disease and should be taken regularly (usually for the rest of your life) to have a preventive effect. In Treatment and prevention of Heart attack Clopirest-ASP 150 Capsule IR prevents the formation of blood clots in blood vessels thereby reducing the risk of future heart attacks or strokes. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby. - Driving : UNSAFE - Clopirest-ASP 150 Capsule IR may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur. - Kidney : CAUTION - Clopirest-ASP 150 Capsule IR should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Clopirest-ASP 150 Capsule IR may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Clopirest-ASP 150 Capsule IR is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. - Liver : CAUTION - Clopirest-ASP 150 Capsule IR should be used with caution in patients with liver disease.
