Description
Introduction
In Treatment of Bacterial infections Abicon Oral Suspension is given to children for the treatment of bacterial infections. These infections may include genital tract infections, urinary tract infections, and gastrointestinal infections, including diarrhea, dysentery, peritonitis, and appendicitis. This medicine helps clear up the infection by stopping the bacteria from multiplying and growing. In most cases, the infection starts showing improvement within 3 to 5 days of regular dosing. However, you must still finish the full course of the medicine. Stopping it abruptly may worsen your child’s condition or cause infection recurrence. In Treatment of Parasitic infections Abicon Oral Suspension is also used to treat parasitic infections such as amoebic dysentery, amoebic liver abscess, trichomoniasis, and giardiasis. It works by stopping the growth of parasites causing the infection. As a result of this, your child’s infection is treated.
Benefits
Abicon Oral Suspension is a combination of two antibiotics: Nalidixic Acid and Metronidazole. Nalidixic Acid works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Metronidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
