Nimuflex-MR Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of pain due to muscle spasm. It improves the movement of muscles and provides relief from pain and discomfort associated with muscle spasms. Nimuflex-MR Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It is best taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for longer duration than recommended by your doctor. Using this medicine may cause few common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, constipation, heartburn, and indigestion. If you experienced any such side effects that do not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent them. The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions or disorders. Let your doctor also know all the other medicines you are taking. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult their doctors first before using the medicine.
Introduction
In Pain due to muscle spasm Nimuflex-MR Tablet treats pain due to muscle spasm by relaxing stiff muscles. It also reduces swelling in the muscles. Altogether, it helps in easy movement and reduces discomfort. Nimuflex-MR Tablet works quickly, usually within a few hours and the maximum benefit can take 2 to 4 weeks or sometimes longer. Take it as prescribed. Once you see some improvement, you can start doing therapy exercises (such as walking or breathing exercises) that will help you get your strength back more quickly.

Nimuflex-MR Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Nimesulide, Paracetamol and Chlorzoxazone which relieve pain and relax the muscles.Nimesulide is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Chlorzoxazone is a muscle relaxant. It works on brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.
How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nimuflex-MR Tablet is to be taken with food.

- Alcohol : UNSAFE - It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Nimuflex-MR Tablet. - Pregnancy : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Nimuflex-MR Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor. - Breast feeding : CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR - Information regarding the use of Nimuflex-MR Tablet during breastfeeding is not available. Please consult your doctor. - Driving : UNSAFE - Nimuflex-MR Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. - Kidney : CAUTION - Nimuflex-MR Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nimuflex-MR Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor. Use of Nimuflex-MR Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. - Liver : UNSAFE - Nimuflex-MR Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided.
